About

Amnesty International was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1977 for its contribution to securing the foundations of freedom, justice, and thereby world peace. Jon Trana represents Amnesty International with his footprints because he symbolizes the voluntary efforts the organization builds on and depends upon. The former headmaster started volunteering for Amnesty International when he retired at the age of 64. He had a special commitment to prisoners on death row.
